Platelet-Rich Plasma for the hair and skin: this is a regenerative medicine that amplifies the natural growth factors within the body, enabling the body to heal itself.

What is plasma and what are platelets?

Plasma:liquid portion of whole blood; Platelets also known as thrombocytes, are blood cells that cause blood clots and other necessary growth healing functions. Platelet activation plays a key role in the body’s natural healing process.

To produce PR, our medically trained professional shall take a blood sample and put it into a machine called a centrifuge. This machine spins at a rapid rate, while separating the components of the blood. The medical professional then extracts the platelets for injection.

PRP for hair loss

The PRP is drawn up into a syringe and then injected into areas of the scalp that need increased hair growth.

Because PRP therapy involves injecting your own blood into your scalp, you are not at risk of contracting a communicable disease.

Most PRP therapy requires six treatments 4–6 weeks apart.
Maintenance treatments are required every 4–6 months.

PRP for skin

PRP stimulates the collagen and elastin production within your skin which thickens and tightens thinning skin, effectively smoothing wrinkles and fine lines. Because it increases the collagen, it’s also a great treatment for improving overall skin texture and tone. It has terrific benefits for people who suffer from rosacea or acne.

PRP is extremely effective for treating stubborn areas, such as the under eye area where clients often notice signs of ageing first but where no laser can be used, due to the delicate skin area. It provides total rejuvenation.
